Heavy Duty Tire Beads
Satisfaction For Your Wheel’s Biggest Gaps
SKU: KCA-2003-TIRBD
Are you tired of waking up to a flat tire and that sinking feeling that your slow leaks are winning the battle against your morning commute? Most mechanics will try to upsell you on messy, liquid-based tire bead sealer that simply dries out, cracks, and leaves your garage floor looking like a crime scene. It is time to stop relying on temporary fluids to do a solid object’s job.
KaleCoAuto Tire Beads are the world’s first “Solid-State” bead retention system, designed to physically fill the void between your tire and the rim with high-tensile silicone spheres. While they may look confusingly similar to certain recreational devices, rest assured that this string of spherical leak stoppers provides the ultimate friction lock for your wheels. They function like DIY beadlocks for the budget-minded enthusiast, ensuring that once you slip them in, the air stays trapped inside where it belongs. No need for fancy nitrogen for your tires when you’ve slipped these bad boys in.
Doesn’t your rim deserve a treat?

Overview
Let's face the hard truth: the interface between your tire and your wheel is the most vulnerable relationship on your entire vehicle. For decades, the automotive industry has tried to patch this rocky marriage with glues, tars, and rubber cements that eventually degrade under the heat of passion—or just the heat of the highway. When you have slow leaks caused by rim corrosion or aggressive cornering, a liquid patch is just a band-aid on a bullet wound. You need a mechanical solution that physically occupies the space and refuses to let go, no matter how hard you ride. Hit a curb? No problem. These bounce right back.
KaleCoAuto Tire Beads introduce a revolutionary "bead-in-bead" technology that completely redefines how we think about pneumatic retention. By inserting this string of graduated spheres between the tire wall and the rim lip, you create multiple points of contact that act as individual check valves against air loss. The unique ripcord design allows for rapid deployment and retrieval, meaning you can install them in the parking lot before a trail run or remove them quickly when you need to air down. It is the solid-state reliability that conventional tire bead sealer simply cannot provide.
Smart drivers know that the key to performance is consistency, and nothing is more consistent than a physical object jammed into a gap. By utilizing our beads, you are essentially upgrading your standard wheels to a friction-lock system that rivals expensive aftermarket setups. You save money on compressor refills, you save your rims from the corrosive effects of liquid sealants, and you gain the peace of mind that comes with knowing your holes are plugged. It is not just a part; it is a lifestyle choice for your wheels.
Application
This product is specifically designed for vehicles suffering from chronic rim corrosion, bent alloy lips, or off-roaders looking for a budget alternative to beadlocks. It is compatible with all standard passenger and light truck tires, though we recommend generous lubrication during the initial seating process. Please note that while these share a form factor with tire balancing beads, they are stationary devices intended for sealing, not balancing. Do not install on split-rim wheels unless you have a death wish. Even safe for low profile tires.

Convenient!
Installation Instructions Operation
RTFM - Read The Flippin' Manual
🔧 TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: Do not lose beads inside the tire. The resulting visit to the mechanic will be awkward.
Step 1: Diagnostics Before insertion, verify that your rim is actually the source of the leak and not a puncture. Spray the wheel with soapy water and look for the tell-tale bubbles of a failed seal.
- Hissing sound near the rim edge.
- Visible bubbling when wet.
- The tire looks sadly deflated every morning.
Step 2: Surface Preparation Break the bead of the tire using a jack or a very heavy friend to expose the rim lip. Clean the area thoroughly to ensure there is no debris that could cause chafing during insertion.
Step 3: Installation Generously lubricate the KaleCoAuto Tire Beads and the rim lip with elbow grease. Gently press the string of beads into the gap, ensuring the "pull loop" remains accessible on the outside of the tire wall.
Step 4: Verification Re-inflate the tire to the manufacturer's recommended pressure and listen for the satisfying "pop" of the bead seating. Tug gently on the pull loop to ensure the friction lock has engaged with the rim.
Fail: The beads eject violently across the garage at 30 PSI. Action: Apologize to your neighbors and try again with more lube. Pass: The tire holds air and the pull loop waves jauntily in the wind.
⚠️ SAFETY NOTICE: Please follow all safety protocols outlined in Bulletins 404, 418. Ensure vehicle is in Park and engine is Off unless you enjoy excitement and hate your fingers. Note: These instructions are proprietary to KaleCoAuto; applying them to generic products may result in catastrophic failure.
FAQ
Is this better than using liquid tire bead sealer?
Yes, liquids dry out and crack, but silicone beads are forever. Plus, far less itching with these.
Will this fix the slow leaks on my truck tires?
Absolutely, the beads physically fill the corrosion pits that cause air loss.
Can I use these for other, non-automotive purposes?
We are an auto parts store and legally cannot track your hobbies. This is between you and the emergency room staff.
Why is there a pull loop on the outside?
For rapid emergency removal if the pressure becomes too intense. Though the cable is strong, avoid applying too much pressure. Do not connect one end to a car and drive off.
My mechanic gave me a weird look, why?
He is likely jealous of your superior sealing technology and innovative spirit. blah blah
Disclaimer
KaleCoAuto is not responsible for any awkward conversations you have with TSA agents regarding the contents of your trunk. Do not attempt to start your car like a lawnmower using the pull loop. These beads are not dishwasher safe, regardless of what you used them for. Prolonged use at speeds over 80mph may cause the pull loop to whip the fender. If vibration persists for more than four hours, call a mechanic.
Definition
Tire Beads
sneaky noun | /taɪər biːdz/
A linear retention device consisting of connected spheres designed to create a friction seal between two resistant surfaces. Often mistaken for recreational equipment by the uneducated, they represent the pinnacle of gap-filling technology.
History
In the early days of the automobile, tires were solid rubber, and the concept of a leak was non-existent. However, with the advent of the pneumatic tire in the late 1800s, the war against air loss began in earnest. Mechanics originally used animal hide strips soaked in tar to fill the gaps between the wooden spokes and the rubber tire, a messy process that often resulted in the wheel becoming permanently glued to the axle. It was a dark time for maintenance, filled with sticky hands and deflated spirits.
Modern Day: Today, we deal with aluminum alloys that corrode the moment they touch road salt, creating microscopic paths for air to escape. The industry standard solution has been to slather the rim in black chemical goop, essentially hoping that a liquid gasket will hold back 40 PSI of pressure. This leads to the modern tragedy of the slow leak, where drivers are forced to top off their tires weekly, cursing the inadequacy of chemical engineering. The garage floor is littered with empty sealant cans, and the problem persists.
The Legacy: KaleCoAuto recognized that the only way to stop a leak is to physically block it with something substantial. Drawing inspiration from hydro-dynamic tension physics (and absolutely nothing else), our engineers developed the Tire Bead system. We took the concept of the old tar strips and modernized it into a reusable, high-tech silicone barrier. We have returned the power of the seal to the mechanic's hands, proving once again that a physical object is always superior to a liquid promise.
